Located at the Market Square in Belmopan - the capital of Belize, the Caladium Restaurant is a premier dining area that combines quality dining service with affordable prices, comfortable air-conditioned atmosphere, and immediate access to bus stations, government offices, banks and other business places.

The Caladium Restaurant is owned and operated by the Del Valle family (Frances, Selina and Tricia) and was opened on the 28 of December, 1984. It has one of the longest history as a business place in Belmopan and has been providing quality dining and affordable prices for over 16 years. The first services offered by the Caladium Restaurant were mainly traditional corn foods and local drinks. However, as the new Capital of Belmopan developed, the services of the Caladium Restaurant evolved to offer quality traditional and international meals throughout the day.

With its recent renovations, the Caladium now offers an enlarged dining area, which can accommodate 64 guests in a fully air-conditioned atmosphere. It also boasts the first take-out service in Belmopan. Comfortable seating and dining facilities have been installed and the kitchen services have doubled to provide faster services for those on the go. The Caladium Restaurant now offers a gift shop and boutique where tourists can find traditional Belizean art and crafts as well as clothing suited for the Belizean climate.
